Hey Folks,
We sit here wishing the very best for those among us in this country who are going through tremendous hardship due to the many catastrophes hitting our nation as well as any of the many others who endure troubles every day for various reasons. May everyone stay out of harms way and overcome these incredibly terrible circumstances. Our prayers are with you.
With all of mother nature's fury at large there are many people out there who's last thought might be about which new comics ship this week, but we're here to lay it out for anyone who is not ducking for cover.
I'll tell you, this is why I stayed up here in New England where catastrophes are mostly minor while my brothers disbanded to other parts of our fine country. Quite thankful and happy right here at home ( thank you very much ) while wishing the best for everyone in harms way.
So without further ado here are some of this week's Hot New Comics...
DC DARK NIGHTS METAL #2 drops this week highly recommended as Batman and the DC heroes dig deeper into the star spanning mystery that will lead them into certain peril.
It's a strong week from DC with Detective, Action, Batgirl and the Birds of Prey, Flash, Hal & GL Corp, Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary Special, Justice League of America, Red Hood, Suicide Squad, Supergirl, Teen Titans ( Metal x-over ), Titans, Wonder Woman and a few others.
Marvel wraps up the Hydra Captain America saga with Secret Empire Omega and we move on to the next event triggering the renumbering of many key character titles to what would be their original numbers and ushering in the eventual return of many key heroes.
Venomverse #2 continues the weekly reading epic that pits a multitude of Venom symbiote enhanced heroes against another symbiotic alien race called the Poison and their heroic hosts. Fast paced mayhem at it's best.
The highly acclaimed Runaways are back in a new mini-series, plus Amazing Spider-man, Deadpool, Uncanny Avengers, All New Wolverine, X-men Blue, Weapon X, Defenders and a ton more.
The Shadow, Rocky & Bullwinkle, TMNT, Transformers, Sheena, SpongeBob, American Gods, Hellboy, KISS / Vampirella, My Little Pony, Doctor Who, Groo and many others for all you connoisseurs of alternate press titles.
